User GuideAgent Memories

Agent Memories

ONCE can remember useful details to make Chat Agent and Note more personalized and efficient.

What Agent Memories Are

Agent Memories are saved facts about your account and usage that the assistants can reference when relevant.

They help reduce repeated questions and keep common preferences consistent across conversations.

Where to Find Them

Open Agent Memories from the app and you will see two sections:

  • Your Information: details you can add or edit manually
  • Learned from Your Releases: automatic, read-only memories calculated from your release and account activity

Memory Types

Editable Memories (Your Information)

These are user-defined memories you control directly, such as:

  • Preferred name
  • Preferred label
  • Preferred genre
  • Artist Spotify links
  • Social links

Auto Memories (Learned from Your Releases)

These are generated and refreshed by ONCE automatically, such as:

  • Release stats and latest release context
  • Frequently used artists, genres, labels, and language defaults
  • Typical writer credits grouped by artist (so writer defaults stay artist-specific)
  • Typical store targeting grouped by artist (so store suggestions can stay artist-specific)
  • Artist profile mappings (Apple Music / Spotify IDs) linked to specific artist names
  • Common copyright owner patterns
  • Current credit balance

How Memories Are Used

Both Chat Agent and Note are designed to use memories only when they help with your current request.

For example, this can help with:

  • Reusing stable preferences in release setup
  • Suggesting likely writers for the same artist while still asking for confirmation
  • Suggesting likely store targets for the same artist while still asking for confirmation
  • Reusing remembered Apple Music / Spotify profile IDs for the correct artist
  • Asking for writers when you switch to a different artist that has no known writer history yet
  • Avoiding cross-artist carryover when you switch to a different artist
  • Answering account-context questions faster
  • Reducing repeated clarification steps
